Nikita, formerly known as Mao Linying, was born on October 8th, 1986, in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. She graduated from the North China Emperor School of Performing Arts. In 2005, she made her debut by playing the role of Xing Nia in the costume drama "Taizu Mishi". In 2008, she starred in the costume drama "8 Avatar". In 2009, she starred in the romance drama "Sentimental Woman, Infatuated Man". In 2011, she starred in the suspense drama "Xiao Bai Cai Evaluated". In 2012, she was known to the audience with the youth idol drama "Refueling Mother". In 2013, she starred in the period romance drama "Prince of Lan Ling".
