Song Yoon A is a South Korean actress who was born in Gimcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do in 1973. She graduated with a Humanities Degree at Hanyang University. In 1995, she won the Golden Prize at the KBS Super Star Competition. Three years later, she starred in Mr. Q adapted from the same named novel and get widely known since then. After that, she was honored as the Best Actress at MBC Drama Awards with the movie My Sweet Moon Bear in 2001 and won the Best Supporting Role in the 40th Grand Bell Awards with Jail Breakers in the next year. On December 12, 2014, Song obtained Best Actress at the Grimae Awards. Four years later, the drama Secret Mother brought her back to the TV screen. She married actor Sol Kyung Gu on May 28th, 2009 and gave birth to a child on August 3, 2010.
